                                     Philosophy of Education

My philosophy of education is simple, but the day to day interactions with students is not easy.  Through the road that I have traveled, I've understood for a while now, that students learn at different rates, speeds, times, styles, preferences, tendencies, intervals, rankings, etc.  The job is, however, meeting the needs of those students, who endure many academic and social challenges.  I work with my students religiously and the rapport that I've built with them not only motivates themselves, but also motivates me!

I embrace the daily experience of teaching and reaching young minds, and allowing them to discover their talents, motivating them by encouraging reading through their interest, and giving them ownership of their work ethics and accomplishments. Through the blood, sweat, and tears, it begins to sink in, and it's at this moment where the hard work pays off, looking forward to the next goal that needs to be met.  I prepare my students with the necessary knowledge it takes to one day be apart of the "real word", where their learning can afford them the opportunities to advance their education, and plant their learning in society through the career path in which they are well grounded for.
